The first weekend of May is set aside at Greenville ARP for our Annual Fellowship Retreat at Bonclarken Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC. We gather together for the weekend as a church family to focus on spiritual enrichment, fellowship, and recreation. In the words of one of our members, “The Fellowship Retreat is a place where my boys can run around anywhere they want and feel secure; two days of great food that I don’t have to cook or carry-out from Papa John’s; a weekend when the Church family really gets to be a family; a time to relax and enjoy sessions of good Bible study; a chance to have nice, long conversations with new friends and old friends I never get to see enough; and, most of all, a time for me and my family to JUST BE STILL.”
Our Congregational Care and Fellowship Committee oversees our supper club program, which helps organize interested members to enjoy dinner together at one another’s homes on a regular basis.
New Member Banquet
During the year we have a celebration honoring the new members that have joined our church family during the previous months. A special dinner is planned for the entire church body, and new members are given the opportunity to be introduced to the congregation.
Plymouth Rock Breakfast
On Thanksgiving morning, the men of the church prepare a breakfast feast for the church family, as we come together to celebrate and give thanks.
