Matthew Scott Miller was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Raised in a Christian home, he came, by the grace of God, to receive Jesus Christ as His Lord when he was six years old. In the years that followed, the Lord proved faithful to him, providing strong Christian relationships as well as churches in which he was fed and taught the Word of God.

Matt graduated from Wake Forest University in 2000 with a degree in Economics and Philosophy, and went on to attend RTS-Charlotte after college, receiving his Master of Divinity in 2004.

Prior to coming to Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Matt worked as a Director of College Ministries at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem, where he enjoyed assisting the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Wake Forest University. After serving on staff for a year as the Director of Christian Education at Greenville ARP, Matt was called to be the Senior Minister in 2008.

Matt and his wife, Lindsay, who hails originally from Ohio and earned her D.D.S. from Ohio State University, were blessed with their first child, Elise Noelle Miller, on August 25, 2011. 

In his free time, Matt enjoys reading, cycling, golfing (with his wife!), and keeping up with friends and family.
