Women’s Ministry
The ARP Women’s Ministries is an organization which encourages and equips the community of ARP women to minister together for God’s glory and purpose.
All women who are members of the Greenville ARP Church are members of Greenville Women’s Ministries. The purpose of our Women’s Ministries is to provide women opportunities for spiritual growth through Bible study and creative fellowship. Building on this foundation we seek to serve in the church and community with a Christ like love. See also the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Denomination Web Site for more information regarding Women’s Ministries within our denomination.

Women’s Circles
We have four circles, small groups of ladies, which meet monthly to study the Bible, pray together, and enjoy a time of fellowship. Most circles meet on the second Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted), but at different times and at various locations.
- Jean Lesslie Circle – 10:00 a.m. – meets the second MONDAY in homes.
- Sisters in Christ Circle — 6:00 p.m. — Meets the second MONDAY in the Fellowship Hall. A light supper will be served.
- Mary Beckham Circle – 9:15 a.m. – meets in the Ladies’ Parlor at the Church, and a nursery is provided.
- Mary Woods Circle – 6:00 p.m. – meets in the Fellowship Hall at the Church, and members take turns preparing supper.
- Circle of Grace – 6:30 p.m. – meets in homes.
- If you are unable to be in a circle at this time, you can still participate in service projects or serve on committees.
- Contact Eileen Avera if you have any questions.

Women’s Prayer Groups:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
Greenville ARP Women’s Ministry sponsors a prayer chain, women who are ready to pray regarding church concerns or member’s concerns. If you would like to be a part of the prayer chain or you would like for this group to pray about your concerns, please let us know. We have both a telephone prayer chain and an e-mail version. Just let us know how you would like to receive the prayer requests if you would like to participate in this ministry.
Ladies Thursday Bible Study:
The Ladies Thursday Bible Study will meet two Thursdays each month from 9:30-11:00 am in the Church Parlor. They will be studying the book Disciplines of a Godly Woman by Barbara Hughes. A nursery will be provided. Contact Eileen Avera if you have any questions.
