About Our Pastor
The Reverend Matthew Scott Miller
Matthew Scott Miller was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Economics and Philosophy and then continued his education at Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte where he received his Master of Divinity degree. He spent a year studying in Edinburgh, Scotland, while in college, and continues his education at Erskine Seminary.
Prior to coming to Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Matt worked as a college minister in Winston-Salem at Redeemer Presbyterian Church and assisting the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Wake Forest University. He then spent two years as a French translator, translating two theological books from French into English (to be released in 2009).
Matt came to Greenville ARP as our Director of Christian Education, soon becoming our Associate Pastor for Christian Education and now becomes our Senior Minister. In his free time he enjoys bicycling, events in downtown Greenville throughout the year, peach cobbler and reading. One of his greatest joys in ministry is doing whatever he can to cultivate a love for God’s Word.
